This tour covers three distinct national parks: Nyerere National Park, Mikumi National Park, and the Ruaha National Park. TOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1
Dar es salaam to Nyerere National Park
Meet & greet in Dar es salaam with our professional driver guide at 0730 hrs & drive with lunch box. Upon arrival at the Camp, check in. Late afternoon, transfer to river bank for the thrilling boat sunset cruise safari along the Rufiji River, you will see hippos, crocodiles & birds in their natural habitat. Overnight at Selous Tented Camp on FB Basis (Lunch & Breakfast).
DAY 2 & DAY 3
Nyerere full day game drives
After breakfast, explore Selous with full day game drive with lunch box. Enjoy lunch under the shade of the tree and overlooking Rufiji River. Overnight at Selous Tented Camp on FB Basis (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
DAY 4
Nyerere( Selous) to Mikumi
Early morning – Walking safari with armed ranger. Drive back to Mikumi with lunch box. Enjoy scenery, through crude road but one of the unforgotten safaris for the true traveler. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of landscape, which is dominated by Hills and Plains as well as part of the famous Miombo Woodlands, these varied habitats. Overnight at Camp Bastian on FB basis (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
DAY 5
Mikumi
Early morning – Walking safari with armed ranger on the way you will have a lunch box.start a game drive inside the park where you will have a great chance to explore the diversities of wildlife species and animals such as lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, bualo, gazelles and others.
DAY 6
Mikumi to Ruaha National Park
After early morning (2 hours) game drive at Mikumi return back to lodge for the late breakfast, then proceed towards Ruaha National Park. It’s about 5 hour’s journey. Ruaha is Tanzania’s second-largest national park. It is at the center of an ecosystem that covers 12,950 sq km and is home to the country’s largest elephant population (estimated at some 10,000). Transfer to your lodge.Dinner & Overnight at Ruaha River Lodge.
DAY 7
Ruaha National Park to Dar es Salaam
After breakfast, drive back to Dar with lunch box (Breakfast & Lunch) END OF TRIP.
